What  a fantastic display of table decorations that we have submitted for this challenge. The tables looked 'spooktacular' for our Halloween lunch on Friday.

Crest Quest!

Please see below details of our first House Challenge of session 25/26 which we would love for everyone to get involved with! With 2 brand new houses, we are looking for the children to create crests and motos to represent their houses. Children can enter one or both parts of the challenge with house points as a thank you.

On Monday, we held House afternoon where we worked together to find out facts about each castle, the special features, the history and the wildlife and forests surround them etc. This afternoon, our House Captains shared the findings and then we hosted a Castles Kahoot Quiz to test everyone’s knowledge.

March House Challenges:

Who wants to be a millionaire?

On the afternoon of Tuesday 26th March, we held our Skene School version of the popular quiz show, Who wants to be a millionaire?  Our House and Vice Captains took to the spot light answering a range of questions about events and happenings within the last year.  Each house had 3 lifelines, 50/50 (two wrong a answers removed), phone a friend (any house member in the audience, pupil or adult) and ask the audience (their won house members) as well as having 2 safety nets at 10 points and 25 points. 

The results…

Garlogie took a gamble on a question they were not 100% sure about and left with 10 points.  Carnie and Easterskene both made it to the next safety net of 25 points before bowing out with an incorrect guess.  We allowed everyone to try the last few questions and offered some bonus points for them.  Easterskene were our overall winners – well done!
